Nice portrait! Very well composed. Just one thing, the background looks like it's in sunlight, while your son is in shade. If the subject is in shade, the background should be in shade. Remember, your eye will always go to the brightest area of a photo or the area that has the most contract. In this case, the brightest area. But still a great portrait!
