Here is my egyptian Protest picture. I found it on NationalPost.com. This picture is of the egyptian riot police as they are waiting to confront protesters. Well, one thing i think they could of done better is the rule of thirds. The head guy could of been positioned a little bit more to the right. But the dod do a good job of putting the tops of the heads close to that line in the rule of thirds..
I didn't see much framing or leading lines thought the lighting looks excellent.
I think this is a good portrayal of the riots in egypt because it shows not only the safety precautions necessary, but the restlessness and fear on the face of the riot police

Great choice of photo. And I agree, although the position of the officer who is walking is using the rule of thirds loosly because he's not dead center, he could have been a little more to the right. But that is getting really picky. ;o) This is still a wonderful photo because of the repeating shapes of the shields and the leading lines that the tops and bottomes of the shields create throug the photo. Great job!
