Hello, photo class!

Here's a photograph I took last night a dusk. I waited until about 20 minutes after sunset and shot this at 200 ISO, f32 and a shutter speed of 30 seconds!!! I shot the building across the freeway and the long exposure blurred all the passing car lights to create this effect. since there was still a little light left in the sky, the long exposure really brought out the blue while allowing lights such as the cars and the building sign to really pop out and be seen.

Everyone's photos from last week are great. There are some truly wonderful photos you all are posting! I hope you've all seen the homework for this week about picking a photo of the Egyptian protests and writing about it. That will be all the homework for this week. I will post a speed challenge, but I figured I'd give you all a little bit of a break before we go into portraits!

Remember to bring your tripod and your two reflector boards with you to class on Friday. Can't wait to see you all. I was really bummed we didn't have class this past week! :o(
