  1. I apologize for the blurriness, my camera was dying and it kinda messed up :P

  2. * just realized my ISO was higher than it needed to be since we were outside and I was using a tripod :P that probably added to the dyingness....

  3. Nice first portrait. A couple things, don't be afraid to get a bit closer. There's a bit too much room in front of her for this portrait. I know you were using the rule of thirds, but that's a bit too much room in front. If you crop in a bit, it will put more focus on Aislinn. Also, remember what I said about being careful about leopard lighting in the background? See how those couple of leaves behind her are lit up and draw your attention? One more thing, Although she's in shade, some of her hair is directly in the sunlight and is lit up very brightly. Make sure your subject is fully in shade. Remember, you can use the reflectors to block out the sun on her. Just also make sure the sun isn't lighting up the background too. Great first portrait. you'll get it in no time! ;o)

  4. Alrighty :) sounds good! So its better to be completely in the shade, without any direct highlights(other than what you can get from the white board). Is that so the focus is more on the "subject"s face?

    Thanks!
