Weekly Challenge - Week One

Ok, here's your first challenge of the week:

"ten"

That's it! I chose to take a family portrait of ten bears. You don't have to be so literal and it certainly doesn't have to be bears! Get creative and interpret it however you want. you can arrange ten forks into the number ten, take a picture of the number ten on a clock, whatever you want. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

By the way, I took this photo with a point-and-shoot camera on a tripod with no flash and on manual mode. I set the camera to f2, the shutter speed was 1/10 sec. and the ISO was 400. So, the aperture was a large hole letting in a lot of light, and the shutter speed was pretty long to let in even more light, because it was not very, or should I say beary bright in the room and I did not use the flash. I would have used a higher ISO that was more sensitive to light like 800 or 1000, but my camera only went up to 400! So I had to use a slower shutter speed. And, since the shutter speed was longer than 1/60 sec. I used a tripod. So you can get great photos and have control with a point-and-shoot camera!

Oh, one more thing, you can click on photos posted to this blog to view them bigger.

Have fun and be creative!
