  3. Yes, actually you can...and you pretty much did! See the water line? Well it creates what's called a line or leading line through the photo, much as a horizon line would in a landscape photo. These types of lines are strong visual elements and you can use them in the composition. For instance, you would not want that water line to go right through the center of the photograph. As you have it here works perfect. Great job!!! ;o)

    We will be getting into lines and more in class this Friday!

  4. This is a great photo! love the lines and texture! It looks cold in black and white, whereas, if it was in color, it might look much warmer! Makes me think of winter!
